- Feira Hippie de Ipanema: The Hippie Fair is held every Sunday at Praça General Osório, a square that takes up an entire city block. The fair has evolved from a small gathering of hippie friends selling their crafts to an open market with artisans highlighting their works. Forget about the hassles of sticking to a budget when shopping at the fair. Chances are you will end up buying much more than you expected and still have a good deal of money left over for a few Caipirinhas.
- Ipanema Beach: Take the opportunity to take pictures in the famous Ipanema Beach.

The “Feirinha de Ipanema”, as the locals like to call it, is the perfect place to find a good bargain. Bikinis, hand-made accessories, ceramic figurines, embroidery, lace, gemstones – are just a few examples of what you may find there. Most vendors are open to bargaining, but they usually do not speak English. That is not a problem for you as we offer a tour guide that can assist you in negotiating the best prices.
